1. On the Beach was a favorite of mine as a child. In fact, it really informed my consciousness about nuclear power and weapons, such that I became a devoted follower of Dr. Helen Caldicott. (But movies don't influence behavior...)
2. What I LOVE at the final poster is the way that they get a penis and labia into the picture, even while having the lower halves of the bodies widely separated. Check out Joan's painted on shorts (by contrast to her blouse) and the painted in line differentiating the rising curve of her quads from the dipping curve of her mons. Meanwhile, boy-o's feet blend into the sand but his blue-balls + erection jeans shape makes no mistake in communicating what's going on on the front side of those 501s...
