Such a great song; i love storytelling songs!
I've always loved Bobbie Gentry's voice. I was eleven when this song came out and drove my family crazy singing it. Also, as much as I love Reba, her version of Fancy (my personal favorite) can't hold a candle to Ms Gentry's.
It's great, and unimaginable that she wrote and produced it when women did not have that power back in those days.
