Cookie has, for some time now, thought about closing up shop on this blog. I mean DHTiSH has had a good run, but after 15 years, it's time for a different venue.
Not that this has been an easy decision. I tried to post about it yesterday and pulled it down. But the simple truth is if we aren't growing, we're dying. So we'll just have to make that new effort.
To that end, I started the new blog, Withering Heights (aka, Withering Heights Ohio, because someone else discovered creative wordplay before I did.) and that's what I have decided upon, especially since the kitchen remodel is inching toward its start.
DHTiSH has been a blast, but I also want the content offline given the upcoming regime change. Why? Self-preservation.
The plan is to see what Withering Heights becomes.
So I have set up Withering Heights with a couple posts and we'll see.
For all of you who have followed me, for all of you who have contributed, and for all of you lurk, thank you.
