Thousands of Geeks + nothing to do = how did I end up in The Louisville Slugger Museum? (Skip it unless you have a thing for long pieces of wood and tripping over the canes of the visitors)

Doc Crow's- best dirty martin and THE best oysters I've ever had in my life.

They have a huge art fair that same weekend in Old Louisville which is chock-full of Victorian/Brownstone charm. It's also not far from a gorgeous cemetery, so there's that if you get depressed and the only thing that will cheer you up is being thankful that you're not dead.

The Visitor Center has a life size statue of Colonel Sanders that will freak you right the f**k out.

There's a river but don't cross it unless you love gambling and are not afraid of ending your life Deliverance style, because there is absolutely nothing on the other side except a hillbilly Casino.twunty mcslorehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01219143013118172997noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-919830837927228571.post-45589677004724748302012-05-10T00:41:23.930-04:002012-05-10T00:41:23.930-04:00My father lives in Louisville now - and there are ...My father lives in Louisville now - and there are a few sassy restaurants downtown, some interesting hangouts on Bardstown Rd, and I heard that they're planning to open a gay hotel there soon (god knows why).marksparkyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06601131043640571653noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-919830837927228571.post-2994592434095488202012-05-08T15:22:45.382-04:002012-05-08T15:22:45.382-04:00You, my dear, are the eternal optimist. You, my dear, are the eternal optimist. The Cool Cookiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04162345087029159056noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-919830837927228571.post-19671068434822012902012-05-08T13:04:53.828-04:002012-05-08T13:04:53.828-04:00How about the Wig Shop District? How about the Wig Shop District? The Mistresshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07109289531733623207noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-919830837927228571.post-8454906569772581802012-05-07T18:22:30.345-04:002012-05-07T18:22:30.345-04:00Husband's Employer, Incorporated, is telling u...Husband's Employer, Incorporated, is telling us that we should know by the end of this month.
