The dining room frieze

As part of my self designed grief therapy, I decided on one splurge - a Bradbury &Bradbury wall frieze for the dining room.  So we went with a 26" paper that is called "Land's End".  Now to get rid of those horrid drapes.  And yes, that's a real Maxfield Parrish print and frame from the 1917 Crane Candy Company advertising campaign.  Found it in a OSU campus dumpster 28 years ago.

  1. The frieze looks perfect! (I love B&B and they might be pricey, but the quality is exceptional.)
Also, this is the not the first time I have heard a story about getting a Parrish from the trash. I am quite jealous.

  2. Honey I love the frieze! I almost went with it for my own home. My house was built in 1908 so an art nouveau touch was what I was looking for. The Parrish is a lovely touch too.

  3. Now all you have to do is pop those drapes in the trash. I'm loving the Freize and the Light fitting!

  4. I need to find or make a set of drapes to replace these - different fabric and design.
