I think that attending her funeral in Ohio is definitely a mitzvah, especially considering her friends and family, and with respect to your friend's memory.<br /><br />Incidentally, you must know about the mikvah built as part of the Green Road Temple complex. Every year when I visit Ohio and drive through Beachwood, another building has been added.
