Looking back, Timmy and Betsy realized that the start of that car ride without exaggeration marked the last anxiety-free moments of their entire lives. Everything, in the end, broke out into pre- and post-HellClown.
The clown forgot to put his seatbelt on and went flying through the windscreen when Father slammed the brakes on halfway down the driveway when he realised he'd forgotten Mother. It was only then that he regretted his decision not to get the optional windscreen repair & replace cover on his insurance. This meant he'd have to sell the kids into slavery to be able to afford a new screen. Still, he looked on the bright side when he realised that Christmas wouldn't be so damned expensive this year...
But Motjer IS the clown.
Ah. That explains why the kids are wearing inappropriate lipstick.
Where's Rutger Hauer when you need him ?
As long as Don Draper's at the wheel, I don't really care.
I saw this both here and in your post on Facebook . . . and I only JUST NOW noticed the author's name!
I knew you'd come around.
