On this spot

In this room, on that empty spot on the settee, something infamous happened.  What happened on this spot.

  2. The more you learn about this story, the more bizarre it gets.

I was just disappointed, as a tot, that she did not in fact much resemble Elizabeth Montgomery.

  6. Wait, you lost your virginity on the settee where Lizzy Borden was conceived and then killed her husband?! Or did I get that wrong?

    1. You know, its a bed and breakfast now. One could, hold an orgy there if they played their cards correctly.

    1. It's funny how we're all torn between Lizzie Borden or your family shame.

    2. Ain't it the truth. We all know that she killed one (or both) but the idea that she got away with it doesn't enrage us. It didn't enrage anyone in 1892, either. And all the evidence since has been destroyed - even the transcripts are impossible to find.

  8. It's where Lizzie Borden first waxed her family (the cheap Korean places had yet to arrive in 1892).
