When fashion mimics car design...

If you look really close at the model here, you'll notice that her eyewear, with its arching wings above the frame, mimics the back of the batwing '59 Chevy. Makes our lovely model Twilia look very owl like, doesn't it. Neither the car, nor the eyewear caught on. Pity.
